This was the first Railway Line in the Middle East, initiated by Jacof Navon – great grandfather of Itchak Navon, our 5th President. The tender was won by a French Company and completed in 1892. The station became redundant in 1948 and now restored and alive again. Magnificently redone and has become one of the popular places in Tel Aviv.
