"Bauhaus White City Tour down Rothschild Boulevard" Tel Aviv has the world’s largest collection of early Modernist Architecture. UNESCO has nominated over 1200 Bauhaus buildings for world-heritage status. Started in Germany in the 1920’s. Architects expelled from Germany arrived in Israel in time for influx of 1000’s of immigrants. No nonsense (practical) style was most suited. Tel Aviv is known as the open Museum for Bauhaus Style.
