"Neve Zedek and The Old Reconstructed Train Station"

The first neighborhood outside Jaffa. Became the Cultural Center of Writers and Poets. Listen to the amazing stories about the founders of Neve Zedek. Today home of the Dancers of Israel and one of the most sought out area of Tel Aviv. Then walk across to the Train Station (Tachanah). This was the first Railway Line in the Middle East, initiated by Jacof Navon – great grandfather of Itchak Navon, our 5th President. The tender was won by a French Company and completed in 1892. The station became redundant in 1948 and now restored and alive again. Magnificently redone and has become one of the popular places in Tel Aviv. Filled with the past which has been so well preserved and now with little boutique shops, eating places and exhibition halls.

"Bauhaus White City Tour down Rothschild Boulevard"

Tel Aviv has the world’s largest collection of early Modernist Architecture. UNESCO has nominated over 1200 Bauhaus buildings for world-heritage status. Started in Germany in the 1920’s. Architects expelled from Germany arrived in Israel in time for influx of 1000’s of immigrants. No nonsense (practical) style was most suited. Tel Aviv is known as the open Museum for Bauhaus Style. Stroll along this beautiful boulevard and hear about the history of Tel Aviv, its people and its buildings.
